Through this blog, we will extend our learning beyond the classroom walls. We will think, write, read, and create. We all promise to be respectiful of one another's views and opinions and to question with integrity, curiosity, and understanding.
I like how you warn the audience that the poem will "veer weirdly." That way the weirdness has humor and purpose. If you hadn't done that, I would just be staring at the poem going 'Huh?'
As a side note, your poem puts me in mind of a particular haiku:
Haikus are easy But sometimes they don't make sense Refrigerator
